Medal Monday featuring Charlie

It is Monday again, so I would like to shine the spotlight on fellow runner, Charlie.  Her favorite race medal is from the New York City Marathon.  She didn't skip a single session while she was training for her 2nd marathon, and 1st international race!  She was lucky enough to have her family, boyfriend, and boyfriend's family come to NYC from London to support her and she was even able to see them along the course amongst thousands of spectators.  As a result of her flawless training and the support of her family, she smashed her goal time and cut 45 minutes off her PR!  Charlie is very proud of this accomplishment and hopes to run the New York City Marathon again someday.

Do you have a favorite race medal?  Email me (willrunforamedal@gmail.com) a picture of the medal or you with your medal and tell me why that race medal is your favorite.  Include a link to your blog if you have one but you don't have to be a blogger to participate.
